Hi, I'm Lindsay!

I feel honored that you've stopped by my page! I'm deeply passionate about my work. I feel it is the greatest privilege to hold a sacred space for people to be their most authentic and vulnerable selves. My work is highly relational, as the therapeutic bond between client and therapist is considered the most important predictor of client success. I strive to create a safe space to process what my clients are experiencing and provide guidance to help them find their own truths.

You may be wondering what drew me to Attachment-Based work. Well, I've always been fascinated by relational dynamics and feel strongly that relationships provide the most meaning and fulfillment in our lives. Yet, we don't receive any real education about relationships or what a healthy, secure attachment looks like. In learning about the various forms of therapy I found attachment work to be the most pivotal and influential work when it comes to relationships. It draws connections and provides insight into every relationship in our lives and with that insight we have the ability to grow greater self-awareness and break generational cycles to build healthier relational and familial dynamics. Attachment work has been transformative in my own life and relationships, making me all the more excited to help my clients achieve the same transformative results.

I am originally from Washington state. I went to Baylor University where I played for the Baylor Women's Soccer Team. I majored in Psychology at Baylor and went on to earn my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. I lived in Austin, TX for several years and loved it, but after visiting Hilton Head Island numerous times I felt that the lowcountry was calling me. I have a deep appreciation of the rich beauty of the lowcountry and the many nature paths, beaches, and wild life here. I love exercising, traveling, cuddling with my cat, connecting with loved ones, and reading fiction. In my spare time you can often find me spending time with my husband and cat, exploring the lowcountry, traveling, exercising, reading, or grabbing a meal with friends.
